This little guy is the newest edition to the Hennig family. Introducing..."El Guapo" Hennig. The new Frenchie of our family, born in the Netherlands, to live in Germany and to have a Spanish name! He already has an international flair to him. He will fit right in.
We went on Saturday afternoon to meet our newest edition in Wierden, a small town located outside of Almelo, about 20 minutes from Hengelo. We had our pic of little guys and gals when we got there- 6 to be exact.
We were originally going for a French Bulldog that was white with black spots around the eyes and as we played with two of them, we didn't really feel a bond. We started to play with some of the others and there was this little guy with a white lighting streak on his face and on his back, with an adorable white belly. The minute he started licking my face, Andreas and I knew. He instantly started playing with Andreas' shoelaces and looking up at him. Andreas fell in love with him as quickly as I did and we both made up our minds on him.
Though, it was hard, there was another little girl that was fighting for our attention too...I had already given her a name, "Bella." She's the little girl on the left side of the photo. El Guapo is on the right. After a little debate between Andreas and myself, we decided on the cutie on the right.
So here you have him, El Guapo Hennig.
I hope you all will love him as much as we do. Andreas will have him in the beginning to help with the training, because we all know- Andreas can be a little more strict than I can. I would just melt the minute he looked at me. I hope you will all get a chance to meet him soon.
